Ethan Jamason, a 14 year old native of Palm Beach County is one of less than 100 freshman to be accepted to Interlochen Academy, an International Boarding School of the Arts as a Dance Major. His dream is to study there throughout high school and then travel the world as a professional dancer.  He is a former student of BAK Middle School of the Arst and the Maltz Jupiter Theatre.  Ethan was asked to audition to the prestigious and historical school of the arts last summer after attending a 6 week dance intensive.  After which, he waited a full year to be of age in order to apply for the Academy.  Ethan received the letter of acceptance the beginning of April 2018.
Just 4 years after the tragic loss of Elliana Jamason, his 2 year old sister, Ethan dances!! Although the last four years have not been easy, Ethan has found the stamina to keep fighting for his dreams.  He survived a family member attempting to take his life and successfully taking his sisters life on Memorial Day 2014.  Ever since, his dream has been to live to perform.  He says, "something else takes me over when I am on stage and nothing else matters".
Although Ethan received a substantial scholarship to attend Interlochen, the family still needs to raise  $20,000 for him to realize his dreams.  He is scheduled to start school September 2018 and is looking for local charitable organizations to help him get there.
